Getting home security is a cool thing to do, but most of the information out there is about as reliable as a fortune cookie prediction at a used car dealership. I want to change that.
Real security (for me) means you have a flawless system in place that automatically knows what to do in the event of an emergency or life threatening situation.
A crisis like this can catch you off guard; it’s hard to prepare for something that for the most part, surprises you. And who wants to think about a worst case scenario, anyway? I mean, that’s why we have Netflix, to avoid reality.
There’s a collective assumption that professionally monitored security systems are about as useful as having a gym membership when you know you’d rather be taking a nap.
Give me a chance to change your perspective. Just like Galadriel in The Lord of the Rings – The Rings of Power. She warned them, right?
